Birds in Art is the prestigious The World’s Premier Avian Art Exhibition. This annual, juried exhibition is celebrating their 50^th anniversary this fall on the weekend after Labor Day. Birds, in all their majesty and fragility, connect us with the natural world. The exhibition features new paintings, sculptures, and works on paper created by contemporary artists, all themed around the wonders of the avian world.

Getting accepted into the exhibition is not easy, as each year thousands of artists from around the world apply.  Of these approximately 100 works are accepted by a rotating panel of expert judges. The main exhibition is located at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin, USA and each year a selected group of works become part of a travelling exhibition around the United States.

I have been fortunate to participate in seven exhibitions starting in 2010 and I am very happy to be part of the current 50^th year exhibition that will be showing from September 6, 2025 through 6 January, 2026.
